Dr. Douglas Jarvis graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1987. Dr. Jarvis completed a residency in Psychiatry at Tripler Army Medical Center from 1987 to 1990. Dr. Jarvis has one office in Indiana.
Specializing in the field of Psychiatry, Dr. Jarvis is prepared to diagnose and treat the various types of mental illness, which may include depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder and anxiety disorders, among other psychiatric illnesses and disorders. Dr. Jarvis is trained to provide various treatments, including the prescription of medications, different forms of psychotherapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy, among other techniques. Dr. Jarvis is also trained to practice Child Psychiatry.
